Video Disk Recorder Project, initiated by Klaus Schmidinger, which makes your PC a "full-featured" SetTopBox. Requires one of:

a AV711x-based DVB card
a "budget" DVB card with VDR Software Decoder Plugin
a "budget" DVB card with a dxr3 card using the vdr dxr3 plugin
an analog Hauppauge PVR350 TV card with pvr350 plugin. Binary images and VDR CD Distributions are available.
