A DVB-C Demodulator. Formerly produced by VLSI Technology, prior to acquisition by Philips. Successor is the TDA10021 produced by Philips Semiconductors.

A Linux driver exists but is known to have problems in some networks with high-order modulation schemes like QAM-128 or QAM-256.

Used e.g. on the Siemens and TechnoTrend DVB-C cards with onboard MPEG-decoder.
