[linux-dvb] VCD & SVCD playback with dvbcard

Hi 
Just a bit of information regarding replay of VCD's.
After a little search I found a small prog which allows to play VCD 
& SVCD directly from CDROM and direct the output into /dev/video. 
It is pretty old and was based on a kernel patch which is included 
in 2.2 kernel for long now.
It has a feature I was desperately searching for, namely it allows 
seeking in VCD tracks.  :)  
It's name is readvcd or xreadvcd.

For some reasons the X version just wouldn't compile for me :/ 
(some messed up source?)
and the ncurses-version won't work with ncurses but on 
commandprompt only. However it works.. very basic  but it works

I'd love to implement it into VDR but my programming skills are 
nearly nonexistent :(
