[linux-dvb] recording ac3/dolby digital

hi,

someone has asked this before, but i didn't see any answers:

can i record a pro7 or pw program with ac3 sound?
how could we get vdr to replay with ac3 sound?
are there hooks for piping the sound to ac3dec/spdif ...?

just wondering.
