[linux-dvb] Re: Sat-HOWTO
Hi,
What is the last version of the dvbd deamon ?
I am trying to use the dvbd2 from the download section, but it doesn't work.
Kernel : 2.4.4
DVB driver : 0.9 (28/4/2001)
dvbd : 0.03
The MAC address of the dvb adapter is not correctly set and I get some errors
when the program wants to access io with VSFRONTEND and SETBFILTER[0]
structures.
Log messages are:
May 2 13:14:02 localhost dvbd[1657]: starting
May 2 13:14:02 localhost dvbd[1657]: Local ip is 192:168:37:225
May 2 13:14:02 localhost dvbd[1657]: Config loaded
May 2 13:14:02 localhost dvbd[1657]: ioctl VSFRONTEND: Invalid argument
May 2 13:14:02 localhost dvbd[1657]: exiting
May 2 13:14:02 localhost dvbd[1657]: ioctl SHUTDOWN[0]: Invalid argument
May 2 13:14:02 localhost kernel: dvb0: set_multi
May 2 13:14:02 localhost kernel: dvb0: filter_free
May 2 13:14:02 localhost kernel: dvb_net: stop
May 2 13:14:02 localhost kernel: dvb0: set_mac
May 2 13:14:02 localhost kernel: dvb0: filter_set
May 2 13:14:02 localhost kernel: dvb_net: open
May 2 13:14:02 localhost kernel: dvb0: set_multi
May 2 13:14:02 localhost last message repeated 2 times
It would be great if someone can help me running the driver properly with a
kernel 2.4.x
