Hello,
I try to start dvb services under linux.
I have kernel 2.2.15( I did upgrade from 2.2.5 to compile dvb driver).
After compiling driver and make insmod I have dvb0 intrface :
dvb0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:D0:5C:5B:8F:CB
inet addr:192.168.4.1 Bcast:192.168.4.255 Mask:255.255.255.0
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0 txqueuelen:100
My plan is to share dvb connection in my LAN using dvbd started on
linux.
But when I start dvbd with dvb.conf :
# DVB receiver configuration file, (c) 2000 data planet international
# standard location in /etc
# LNB power on=1/off=0
power 1
# symbol rate [symbol/sec]
symbolrate 22000000
# ASTRA TR 114
frequency 12640000
# 22 kHz signal on=1/off=0
ttk 1
# diseqc on=1/off=0
diseqc 0
# AFC on=1/off=0
AFC 1
# polarisation H=1/V=0
polarisation 0
# settings for MPE filter, PID and MAC filtering, valid MAC bytes
filter_0 512
filter_1 785 00:D0:5C:1E:96:01 48
filter_2 786 00:D0:5C:1E:96:01 48
filter_3 1041 00:D0:5C:1E:96:01
48 It happens
nothing. I don't see dvbd process running.
In SAT - HOWTO it was written that after running dvbd without parameters
I should see connection quality.
Are my setting correct ?
BTW is there any manual for setting dvbd ?
Regards,
Tomasz Viscardi
