[linux-dvb] WinTV Nova - and now ?!

Hi Guys,

i bought a Hauppage WinTv Nova (SecondHand) to experiment with the DVB stuff under Linux. 
I have the dream to get this card running as the primary card and a MPEG2-decoder (DXR3) 
card as output device - wouldn't it be nice to have such a low cost solution with timeshift capability?!

Ok, here is my problem:
The latest official driver version (0.9-18.06.2001) compiles fine for me (only some specific SUSE 
problems-mentioned in many mailings)

Loading the driver seems to work, because nothing unusual could be seen in /var/log/messages:

But: When i try to start ntuxplayer i get the message:
"VIDEO DEVICE:  Das Argument ist ungültig" 
and the program returns immediately (Maybe i didn't understand correctly what the program is for).

Can someone explain me, how i can record (or view) a tv-channel.
