[linux-dvb] Re: ac3 playback - please help !!!

No luck today :-)

> o create a pipe device like "mkfifo /dev/ac3sound"
> o start play-ac3 and let it read from the pipedevice
"play-ac3/dev/ac3sound"
> o start vdr with vdr ... -a "tee >/dev/ac3sound"

As soon as i start a playback via vdr, "play-ac3 /dev/ac3sound" quits itself
with the error message "Error seeking in ac3 stream" :-(
Starting again just quits again !
No sound !
When i stop the recording the "tee > /dev/ac3sound" reports "tee: write
error"
I'm testing everything as root at the moment !

Any idea !?

Is "cat test.ac3 | tee > /dev/ac3sound" supposed to work ? It doesn't, too !
The same errors as described above !

btw: No logs to /var/log/messages !
