There's a pretty long gap here between the beginning of the channel switching
and the start of the recording (6 seconds!), so I would assume that the channel
didn't sync (although I can't explain why VDR didn't realize that, maybe there
was no error return value).

VDR has waited 10 seconds for incoming video data, but since there was nothing
coming, it decided to try all over again.
