I did some more tests now.

If I only use the dvb driver to watch tv and don't use the lirc addon
to drive vdr-lirc but use vdr-kbd then it will not lookup. I can watch
TV for hours and days. I can even load the lirc extension (lirc_dvb.o)
and start lircd and everything is fine. Only if I use vdr-lirc or
another programm which uses /dev/lirc (like irpty) the computer will
lock up after ten minues or so.

It might have to with some SMP problems. But the lirc_dvb module is
really strait-forward. So I can't find a possible problem in here.

Any suggestions?

Christoph
