[linux-dvb] IR receiver dead after ARM crash

Hi,

I've been using the LIRC module of the DVB driver together with VDR for
about two weeks now. After some inital problems getting things up and
running, everyting is working pretty well now.

Sometimes during replay however, when I press the the yellow or green button
quickly or hold it down to seek through a recording, I will get an ARM
crash. After that, my remote control stops working until I reload the
driver.

First, I would like know if anyone else can reproduce this behaviour? I have
no seperate IR receiver anymore, so I can't try it without the DVB card's IR
support enabled. I wonder if the ARM crahses just because I have IR support
enabled or if this is a general problem. I'm using the driver as of
November, 4th and VDR 0.98.

Second, it would be nice if the IR receiver wouldn't stop working after an
ARM crash. The system recovers very well most of the time (even the playback
continues) but I cannot control VDR anymore ;-)
