[linux-dvb] Re: DVB-T with MPEG2 decoder/TV-out

Hi all!

I have a TT-DVB-T (Premium) card. Got it directly from Technotrend last
fall. My version seems to be "a developer version" since it has a jump
wire and some taped holes ...

But it was very hard contacting the TT company directly. They very
rarely replied to my emails. And it took 2 months to get the card from
there ... we had to call them many times ...

I have that card at home. I built a VDR-box and it works very well! Now
I use the NEWSTRUCT drivers and vdr 1.1.8. I have a Nova-T and a budget
USB version at work.

I looked at the www.dvb-shop.de and now they seem to have them again.
The price is 329 EUR. If you need help with the site, don't hesitate to
ask. I know some german but I suppose others on this list will help you
too. ( click basic dvb-shop, then click the second item on the bottom of
the page, then click zum-Shop, then write DVB-T into the Suche box in
the upper left corner and click the icon next to it -> voila! You should
see the card on the page then)

Technotrend does manufacture the Hauppauge cards. You can see in many
"Hauppauge windows drivers" the Technotrend name ... e.g. Nova-T =
TT-DVB-T Budget. You can use the windows drivers on the Technotrend www
page.

Best wishes,

........Harri

P.S. If you need any help in the future with this card and linux and
anything else, don't hesitate to ask!
