Sorry, might be that I am a bit confused, but where did you get these
frequency numbers from? I couldn't find them in the mentioned specs.

I am asking this because I have also problems with a specific
frequency. I can tune to all channels on 394 MHz and to all on 410
MHz, but absolutely no channel on 426 MHz is working for me. This
seems a bit strange to me, because I think it should have worked for
someone, as the channel.conf.cable file from vdr includes all those
channels.

I am not sure if this has anything to do with frequencies, because if
I change the frequency to an inappropriate value (a frequency where no
digital TV is located), vdr does try to tune to the channel for a long
time. But on 426 MHz where digital TV does exist, tuning goes rather
fast, but there is just neither a video, nor an audio signal, but
sometimes there are some flickering parts of the picture from the
(correct!) channel. --- I can see that it is the right channel,
because sometimes the logo of the channel in the upper left is
visible.

Is here someone with enough knowledge to debug this with me? I would
assume so, because someone must have written the driver. What
information do you need?

Does this output of czap give any hint?

# ./czap mdr
using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0'
tuning to 426000000 Hz
