[linux-dvb] Re: hw_sections=0 causes disrupted recordings

I have two cards (DVB-C and DVB-T - I've had two DVB-C cards too) with
hw_sections=0 and I do not have any problems with recording
specifically. 
I 'only' experience general unstability with two cards. Often the screen
just stays blank on one of the cards after a while. Need to reload
driver to resolve problems. When the system is ok, recordings are
perfect.

It really seems, that the problem only occurres with two or more cards.
I have 2 DVB-C cards and massive problems with recordings
(hw_sections=0); With hw_sections=1 the recordings are ok but i get a
lot of crashes - especially when i'm doing timshifting.

Same here. hw_sections=0, single DVB-C 1.5. No problems with recordings.

I can confirm this. Switching channels also seems to be slower.
