[linux-dvb] Re: Technotrend DVB-T 1.2 recommended for UK?

As Gregor said, I don't have the option of misusing a full featured Sat card, because I don't have a sat feed. I think I might as well get the TT DVB 1.2 anyway, because if it the problems arn't solved I should still be able to 'misuse' it with a Nova-T?
Good point. That holds true as long as those vertical lines on the TV out aren't specific to the full featured DVB-T 1.2. Not sure if that's all cards or just some.

You could still "misuse" a full featured sat or cable card, as is a patch to the current vdr to use it with the 0.9.4 drivers which don't mind a missing sat signal: See http://www.linuxtv.org/mailinglists/linux-dvb/2003/06-2003/msg00832.html and follow-ups. Rev 1.6 recommended as those don't get hot but have RGB output unlike the rev 2s (please correct me if I'm wrong).
