[linux-dvb] Re: Some progress on Siemens DVB-C analog TV module

Hello Michael,

Ok, i tried to use scantv. "scantv -a -o senders" scan from 44MHz up to 958 MHz, but the file senders contains no senders. Senders are found like this console output shows: "?? 83.25 MHz (S03 ): | yes"
"scantv" uses the signal strength reported by the tuner and uses the teletext informations from vbi in order to determine the name of the channel.

Because of the fact that both isn't fully implemented yet, it simply does not work.

But the file senders contains:
---------------------------------------
[global]
freqtab = europe-west

[defaults]
input = Television
norm = PAL
---------------------------------------
You'll have to manually select the channels according to your local distributor with Cursor up/down. Then you can build a channel list with "xawtv" manually with the channel editor. After that, Page up/down cycles through this list.

Michael.
