[linux-dvb] Still A/V sync problems (PCR error?)

Hi,

I am looking for some help.
I am running recent vdr and dvb (latest firmware), but I still
have some problems with A/V sync playing recordings.

But I noticed something very strange, the problem (with same
recording) is gone when I tune to another transponder, and then
start the play-back.

So I started reading this list, and debugging a bit.
I used the test_stc program from DVB\apps\test, put this in a
100 ms loop, and looked at the output.

On a "good" transponder, I see the STC value incrementing, when I start
play-back, the STC "jumps" to the values from the recording, and back
when I stop play-back.
On a "error" transponder the values jump between the values
from the recording, and the values normaly send on the transponder.
This "error" transponder is 12515 H S19,2E (Dutch).
On this transponder there is a seperate PCR pid (for all channels).
As far as I could test ,the problem is independent from PCR settings
I put in vdr.
Even if I do not define any PCR (or a wrong one),
when I start the playback, the STC will
somehow pick-up the transponder PCR value.

I believe this can only happen if the firmware still scans the PMT for
this PCR pid in some situations.
Can this be thru ?

Greetings Rene.
