Not quite sure about compiling with another version of the kernel?
Could that cause problems?

Tempted to just give Gentoo a try as I'm only running on a 233, 
Then I can use the FAQ I found exactly!!

hey,

i had similar problems, your best getting the RPMs for 2.4.20-18.9 as 
v1.0 compiles fine under this. Unfortunatly 1.01 doesnt :(
