I'm talking about cards that have a TV out and MPEG decoder!
It is my firm believe that one major reason for the popularity
of VDR (with FF DVB cards) is that even "joe average" can plug
such a card into his PC, connect the tv set and get this thing
going. No need to fiddle around with special graphics cards,
sound cards etc.

The average user wants ONE card to plug into his PC, and that's it!
Only such a full featured card can really be considered an alternative
to the current full featured DVB cards.

And, I'll repeat it again: anybody who wants to use a budget card
can already do so! However, it's just not as easy...
