Maybe. The signal seems to be not very well here. I often get "tuning
failed" messages. I've picked the cheapest antenna I could find,
assuming that would be good enougth because I'm living in the city, not
far away from the berlin television tower. Probably that wasn't a great
idea :-/ Or there are any tricks I can try?

s/cvs-kernel/dvb-kernel/. 2.5 MB patch btw., due to
drivers/media/dvb/ttpci/av7110_firm.h update ...

running a patched kernel with latest dvb-kernel driver, still the same
problem. Works for a short time, then it dies and I get I/O errors
if I try to tune something. reboot fixes it.

The 2.4 kernel seems to have issues too btw, it crashed several times
today while testing mpeg2 playback (i.e. read mpeg ts stream drom dvr0
and play that).
