The obvious questions are:

1) Are the subtitles definitely on PID 1014 and definitely onn page 691? 
   The service information from that transponder (using dvbtune -i to 
dump it) should confirm that.  It's possible that normal teletext is on 
PID 1014, but the subtitles are broadcast on a different PID.

2) Are they definitely teletext subtitles, and not DVB (i.e. bitmapped) 
subtitles?

If the answers to both questions are yes, could you make a sample 
recording (no bigger than about 50MB) available for me to download from 
somewhere?
