[linux-dvb] Re: Continuity counter inconsistency

Just checked this TS as I said I would, the response was the CC errors were
flagged twice and there is also an unreferenced PID error.

I got an Eb/No of 7.8dB and a BER of 1*10^-8 on a professional 2.4m H-H antenna
connected with high grade RG-213 cable (or is that RG-214, I can never
remember) and amplfied through an ETL L-Band matrix.

This was done using a Tandberg professional IRD and taking the ASI transport
stream output and placing it into a Scientific Atlanta re-mux for strict
checking. I would have used a better tester but the TT4030 is unaccessable
where the available ASI receiver is.

I've marked this down and I will put the TS through an ASI TS analyser for an
ETR 290 check when I get into the office on Monday evening. If I get a chance.
This test is rather the definative when it comes to checking the stability and
validity of a TS (although many commercial TS's fail on one minor point or
 another.

  On Astra 19.2E 10832/H symbolrate 22000. A good example is pid 0x0fa1.
