[linux-dvb] serious dvb-s tuning problem

Hello,

I have a serious tuning problem.

I have a Siemens DVB-s Card rev. 1.3.

I'm not able to tune to any other channel on Astra 19.2E that lies on another
transponder then the following

horizontal:
ARD / arte / Bay. Fern / BR-alpha / hessen fernsehen / Phoenix / SR Südwest /
SWF / WDR /
(refering to Astra - should be transponder 71)

vertikal:
n-tv / viva / fashion-tv / bloomberg tv de /
(refering to Astra - should be transponder 116)

I tried every driver version from linuxtv.org, firmware build in an loaded via
hotplug. I tried different kernels 2.4.21-xxx	and all > 2.6.2, but everytime
I have the same problem. I tested the card in some other PC's but that didn't
help. I'm still not getting any other channel then the ones that I listed
above.

The card is ok - I tested it with the original technotrend and progdvb under
windows - there I get all channels. So it isn't a hardware problem.

Because I get the Problem with every linux-distribution and nearly every
driver (I was not able to compile the newstruct driver) I think there is a
serious bug in the dvb-driver. With the linux-dvb driver the card is not able
to lock any other channel.

Is there any possibility to fix that problem ?

I attached some messages.

Greetz

R. Jenster
