I have a problem with satellite drift. This means that every now and
then I have to reprogramme the position in the positionner because it is
off a degree.

I have noticed that when the satellite is slightly off line then zap
times are longer. Maybe strong wind or other weather could be an issue
too.

vdr 1.3.6 on Astra 2D is maybe 1->2 seconds to change channels. Much
quicker than xine DVB which takes at least 3->5 seconds.

Cheers
