I've purchased a kworld/v-stream/xpert dtv dvb-t pci
card and I'd like to get the DVB side working under
Linux.

The card in question uses a Conexant CX23883 as the PCI interface.

There's a integrated Samsung tuner / frontend, part number TDTC9251DH01C which uses a Zarlink MT352.

I believe the hardest part is getting info on the Samsung metal can. Does anyone know where to go for data sheets and other info for the Samsung tuner? I could not find anything on any of the Samsung web sites.

Cheers,

Peter.

All publicly available info can be found at:

http://sem.samsung.com/cache/en/products/po734.html

not much to see, though, Here's the decoded info from the part number:
TD = digital tuner
T  = terrestrial (guess what!! :) )
C  = 7.8 MHz switch
9  = DIN-jack antenna in
2  = symmetric saw filter
5  = 5V IF amp supply
1  = RF with loop-through
D  = Zarlink/Mitel demodulator
H  = horizontal mounted
01 = chassis series 87x37x12
C  = revision no. (presumeably rev.2)

Hope that helps,

Niklas
