The readreg error is generated by mt352_detect_avermedia_771() and
is harmless.
Good to know. Sorry to be ignorant but is there something special that the
driver has to be able to do to do the initial scanning with the 'scan'
utility? All I get with this card is initial tuning failed. Works with
others.
