[linux-dvb] SL1935 vs TDA8060TS

Hi all.

Some of you may remember I've posted on several occasions about not being
able to get my Budget-CI (sans CI) functioning in Linux. Works 100% in
Windows.

On load, the DVB code reports:

DVB: registering frontend 0 (STV0299/TSA5059/SL1935 based)...

Recently, spurred on by the thread about tin boxes and front end
locations, I opened the tin box on my tuner. Two of the chips in it are
indeed STV0299B and TSA5059, but the third is _not_ an SL1935. It's a
TDA8060TS.

This seems to be functionally the same as what the SL1935 does, but it
isn't an 1935.

So, could this explain the lack of functioning in Linux, or are these two
things actually the same, and I'm barking up the wrong tree.. again :)

Thanks :)
