[linux-dvb] Hauppauge Nexus-s 2.2 Debian Testing

I'm currently running Debian Testing (2.6.7 kernel) with the dvb-utils, dvbtune, and dvbstream packages installed.

lspci -vvv outputs:

0001:01:12.0 Multimedia controller: Philips Semiconductors SAA7146 (rev 01)
Subsystem: Technotrend Systemtechnik GmbH Technotrend/Hauppauge DVB card rev2.1
Control: I/O- Mem+ BusMaster+ SpecCycle- MemWINV- VGASnoop- ParErr- Stepping- SERR- FastB2B-
        Status: Cap- 66MHz- UDF- FastB2B+ ParErr- DEVSEL=medium >TAbort- <TAbort- <MAbort- >SERR- <PERR-
        Latency: 16 (3750ns min, 9500ns max)
Interrupt: pin A routed to IRQ 52
        Region 0: Memory at 80080000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=512]

It says 2.1 here but on the card itself it says Rev 2.2. My problem is this during boot the hotplug service loads everything but there are a couple of error messages (marked with errors at the end of the line):

Linux video capture interface: v1.00

And finally when I use dvbtune I get this: "frontend: 13FRONTEND DEVICE: No such device". After this I tried xawtv just to see if get anything off of /dev/video0 . The window comes up with a green background and no video. I don't have a cable hooked up from my dish to it so this is expect, but at this point my system freezes and I have to do a hard reset. It seems like any access to /dev/video0 freezes the system. IS this because I don't have a connection with my LNB yet? How about the dvbtune frontend error message?

Someone please let me know if you've run into a similar issue or have any ideas.

Thanks,
Matt
