OK, I deleted the modules from kernel, and used the build-2.6 directory. I used debug=1 in the insmod script (which didnt give much information) and debug=16 (which gave some more, but not really alot more) Sep 30 22:44:22 h0m3r Linux video capture interface: v1.00 Sep 30 22:44:22 h0m3r /root/dvb-kernel/build-2.6/dvb-dibusb.c: found a 'Twinhan VisionDTV USB-Ter/HAMA USB DVB-T device' in cold state, will try to load a firmware Sep 30 22:44:22 h0m3r /root/dvb-kernel/build-2.6/dvb-dibusb.c: using firmware file (dvb-dibusb-5.0.0.11.fw). The problem that the driver cant load the firmware the first time is know, this also happened with your old vpn-7041 driver. Again, the device worked with that older driver and an older kernel version, but I didnt had a good antenna, so I lost the interest. Now I have a new antenna, and wanted to use the device again :-) Thanks for your help - I'll provide further input on request. Maybe I'll try a 2.6.8 kernel tomorrow to see if that helps. With kind regards, P.
