Holger's right,

I know of an SD capable USB 1.1 and HD capable USB 2.0 being released
in the Asia/Pacific region in October/November.  Both use Dibcom video
decoders and either a Thomson or Panasonic tuner.

October/November 2004 affordable USB2.0 highspeed devices from different 
vendors with and without linux-support will get available.
