[linux-dvb] linux 2.6.8.1 and tda1004x

Hi.

I've got a tda1004x based budget_ci card, which I *did* have running 
with 2.6.5 stock, and later I hacked 2.6.7-bk to work also.

since then I havent had time to play, and have completely rebuilt the OS 
on the box for other reasons, only to find that the tda1004x driver 
seems broken still in 2.6.8.1, and doesnt even have my firmware stats in 
it for the more recently available firmwares.

Does anyone have a known good set of firmware / driver patches that work 
for 2.6.8(.1) ?

I get this if I add my firmware stats so that it tries the 2.17d firmware:-

saa7146: found saa7146 @ mem cf8ca000 (revision 1, irq 12) (0x13c2,0x1011).
DVB: registering new adapter (TT-Budget/WinTV-NOVA-T  PCI).
TT-Budget/WinTV-NOVA-T  PCI adapter 0 has MAC addr = 00:d0:5c:23:b1:05
tda1004x: Detected Philips TDA10045H.
tda1004x: Detected Philips TD1316 tuner.
DVB: registering frontend 0:0 (Philips TDA10045H)...

but no device nodes in /dev/dvb (indeed, no /dev/dvb...)

the 2.17d firmware used to work a treat in my hacked 2.6.7-bk driver, so 
that shouldnt be the issue...
