Actually, that was how I intended it to be (leave the Pnp option in the BIOS
disabled) but ... you never know.

Well, the firmware was loaded correctly, now you have to load the frontend
module. 
I am sorry but I never had a DVB-C (Cable) so I don't really know what frontend
it could be using.
