[linux-dvb] Re: Hauppauge Nova-T Remote Control - Help!

I don't believe that it is the new one. I have had it for some time. lspci gives:

00:14.0 Multimedia controller: Philips Semiconductors SAA7146 (rev 01)

When I load what I believe are the relevant modules, I see the following in /var/log/messages:

Nov 30 00:21:39 tv kernel: Linux video capture interface: v1.00
Nov 30 00:21:40 tv kernel: saa7146: register extension 'dvb'.
Nov 30 00:21:40 tv kernel: saa7146: register extension 'budget dvb'.
Nov 30 00:21:40 tv kernel: saa7146: register extension 'budget_ci dvb'.
Nov 30 00:21:40 tv kernel: ACPI: PCI interrupt 0000:00:14.0[A] -> GSI 10 (level, low) -> IRQ 10
Nov 30 00:21:40 tv kernel: saa7146: found saa7146 @ mem cea09000 (revision 1, irq 10) (0x13c2,0x1011).
Nov 30 00:21:40 tv kernel: DVB: registering new adapter (TT-Budget/WinTV-NOVA-T^I PCI).
Nov 30 00:21:40 tv kernel: adapter has MAC addr = 00:d0:5c:23:0f:78
Nov 30 00:21:40 tv kernel: DVB: registering frontend 0 (Philips TDA10045H DVB-T)...
Nov 30 00:21:40 tv kernel: saa7146: register extension 'budget dvb /w video in'.Nov 30 00:21:41 tv kernel: usbcore: registered new driver Technotrend/Hauppauge USB-Nova

I am not sure why I see the last of these messages since the card is PCI and not USB.

I have been trying to get the remote control that came with my Nova-T card working with no success.

If it's the new nova-t (model 90002, might say 909 on the yellow box),
then it's simply not implemented yet. There's docs for it in the
video4linux snapshot, so you might implement it.
