ok, got round to trying this tonight and still not having any luck. Found a
message i'd saved from a while back which said to load nxt6000, sp887x and
mt352 first. Done that and I still getting the same message. bttv is happily
loading going by dmesg and my card is picked up correctly.

anything else I should try?
