[linux-dvb] sky star 2

hello!

i am new in dvb matter, i got SS2 few days ago and i have successfully installed driver from kernel 2.6.10 in slackware (current version). scan which is provided with linuxtv-apps works fine as well and scans all programs from astra but i have got problem with viewing any programmes using mplayer and xine. actualy when i try run:

# mplayer dvd://

i get error message that mrl protocol is invalid. and when i try :

# cat /dev/dvb/adapter0/dvr0

there is absolutely no answer.

could anyone of you give me some advice?
