You have the wrong driver (cx88-blackbird) loaded.
Unload it (rmmod) and load the dvb driver (cx88-dvb) instead.
Ummm..  Dont have cx88-dvb, I'm quite sure that I have dotted
everything related to cx88 in kernel menuconfig.  Gotta check again.
Maybe the greatest and latest 2.6.11-rc3-bk5 is brokken.

This hotplug thingy is horrible, need to disable most of the stuff
there, except firmware.agent.
Must have been cooked up by some renegade from MS.
