[mpeg2] framegrabbing & encoding with kfir1 card ?

Hello,

I'm new to this mailing, happy to see so much interest in this card and
linux.

We've just tested the kfir1 chip with a BMK card, under windows, just to see
what she can do. Seems to work fine for us.
Now we start the real stuff under linux.

Is there a way (under linux) to encode directly from a file (memory..
anything else than analogic signal) ?
(For exemple : doing frame grabbing and encoding..).
