ja, Klaus has pointed this out in the linux-dvb mailing list: the 
firmware is theoretically able to decode any encryption system (see 
softcams, they can decode at least 4 systems without any kind of 
problem); however there are big compatibility issues between the 
firmware and the variuos CAMs, making it impossible to decode and use 
the traditional way of CI modules and original subscriptions.
