[vdr] AW: encryption

technicaly its more like: the encypted datastream is decrypted inside a chip (DSP) with a Key wich comes from tha CA and after that its written to disk (ok, in reality its a little bit more complicated)

so when you combine a budget card with a full card then the full card will have to be card 1 (for viewing) and you will be able zu use timeshift only for free-to-air, anything that hast to do with a encryted chanel will be handled by card 1 and so you cant´t have timeshift or "watch something else while recording" when using a encrypted channel
a good alternative as a second card will be the new Nova-CI (budget with CI) - IF the driver can use the card - unfortunedly the Nova-CI is not supportrd yet and the driver-coder ( http://www.metzlerbros.de/ )dont have one to test with it, maybe they accect one as a gift ;-)
the safest way at the moment (imho) is to waite or a second full card with CI and as third card a budget
