The difference is that epg2timers allows you to program
vdr via tvtv.de from anywhere in the world by using the
web epg interactively, as officially offered by tvtv.de,
while Ulrich's script "steals" their data (at least from
their point of view - no offense meant, Ulrich! See my
previous posting) to display it in vdr's EPG.
