Sorry ;-), Copying could be avoided all together when the player only send 
complete frames. If the frames have to assembled, some copying might be 
required, so it comes down to question, how much copying can be avoided. At 
least the transfer mode and the cDvbPlayer (only when it has a index file 
though) do send the date frame alligned.
