I did a remote by combining PHP/Apache with svdrpsend. Thus I can zap via
Notebook+WLAN from my living room while vdr is located 2 stages upstairs and
connected to the household antenna cabling via a UHF-converter...

If someone is interested in my PHP-Scripts I will publish them on my website
after my vacation (in ca. 2 weeks).
