[vdr] Re: VDR and DVD-R

Hi Ralf,

I do the following steps to produce a DVD-R with AC-3

1.) copy the file to my windows machine and merge the files (with copy /B)
2.) use ds.jar to demux the video
3.) if necessary, I use tmpgenc to make a DVD-conformed format
4.) load the video-file in SpruceUp
5.) make a imagefile
6.) burn the imagefile with DVDDecrypter

You can download TmpgEnc and DVDDecrypter from www.doom9.org. Because i am at work, i can't give you the homepage from ds.jar. For SpruceUp, you must search with googel ;-)

Hi Frank,

can You please describe your way from VDR-Recording to DVD-R. I always
have a problem with the AC3-track. Witch tool do you use for converting
PES to PS? Witch authoring Software do you use?

Thx

Ralf
