[vdr] Stability problems

Hello there,

I'm running a VDR for a few days now, had some problems but could cope
with most of them. One problem that bugs me quite hard is stability.
When I get up in the morning and check, VDR doesn't run anymore. I've
checked the logs and could trace it down to the following errors:
Channel 106 is not synched and therefore VDR exits after reaching panic
level 10.

Aug 23 02:24:49 vdr -- MARK --
Aug 23 02:38:04 vdr vdr[4967]: ERROR: Transfer-Mode kann nicht gestartet
werden! Aug 23 02:38:27 vdr vdr[4967]: ERROR: Transfer-Mode kann nicht
gestartet werden! Aug 23 02:38:50 vdr vdr[4967]: ERROR: Transfer-Mode
kann nicht gestartet werden! Aug 23 02:39:15 vdr vdr[4967]: ERROR:
channel 106 not sync'ed on DVB card 1! Aug 23 02:39:15 vdr vdr[4967]:
panic level: 3 Aug 23 02:39:15 vdr vdr[4967]: retrying

Channel 106 is some foreign channel that I seam to not receive (black
screen) but that doesn't give me any errors during "normal" operation,
when switching to it. In another log I've found the entrys

Aug 22 03:17:41 vdr -- MARK --
Aug 22 03:26:05 vdr vdr[8066]: ERROR (dvbapi.c,3463): Device or resource
busy Aug 22 03:26:05 vdr vdr[8066]: ERROR: failed to set PIDs for
channel 1 Aug 22 03:26:05 vdr vdr[8066]: retrying

preceeding the "channel 106 error".

I attached two parts of my /var/log/messages

Those errors occur alltogether during nighttime, but this may be a
coincidence.

One idea I have is that my antenna is not adjusted perfectly, but
sufficient for normal operation. Could it be, that if during a storm the
signal drops, those messages are generated? But I don't think there are
these storms every night?

Thanks a lot in advance, Christof Soehngen
