The original AC3 code depended on the ac3 stuff included with older vdr 
versions. The stuff got in there as part of the old dvd version. At some 
point, i switched that to liba52 which broke the LiveAC3 stuff. That was the 
part when i did some doctoring on it and somehow stuck.

LiveAC3 was implemented in part by Dr. Werner Fink and some else whose name i 
don't remember at the moment (Sorry!).

Nevertheless, i'll have a look and see what i can do.
