the problem is imho that the dvb-s cards won.t "wake up" after standby mode.
but maybe this "problem" has been solved.

so there are two solutions:

.) stop vdr and unload dvb drivers. this will save most of the energy
.) shut down the vdr pc and restart if from server or some other device..
