[vdr] Re: How-to convert channels.conf to vdr 1.1.6 ?

Hi,

I solved this problem in my channels.conf by increasing or decreasing
the frequncy by 1, so that it is unique again. I know it's a bit dirty
but it works and does not lower the quality as the difference is so
small. Your example would then look as follows:

:Sportsworld
Premiere Sport 1:11720:h:0:27500:255:256,257:0:101:17
Premiere Sport 2:12031:h:0:27500:3839:3840:0:101:27
:Formel 1
Supersignal:12070:h:0:27500:255:256:0:101:211
Cockpitkanal:12070:h:0:27500:511:512:0:101:212
Boxengasse:12070:h:0:27500:767:768:0:101:213
Verfolgerfeld:12070:h:0:27500:1023:1024:0:101:214
Infokanal:12070:h:0:27500:1279:1280:0:101:215
Multikanal:11719:h:0:27500:255:256:0:101:17

However, for the log run I would suggest to somehow integrate the
channel name into the Channel ID to solve this problem. You could also
make a code out of the channel names (perhaps you could compare it to
ShowView numbers, which contain several information in a code of only a
few numbers).
