I have set it to 28 and run the update every 30 minutes. I often program
extra recordings by www.tvtv.de just few hours before they start because
tvtv provides a more complete summary.

I have changed vdradmin in a way so it shows me in different colors
whether there are more recordings programmed for the same time than DVB
cards available. Planning more in advance allows to schedule recordings
for a repeated transmission if a collision occurs.
