The problem is, that I can't speak enough english for THAT ;)

Soweit ich weiss, ist allein der "Versuch der Umgehung einer Zugangskontrolle" 
(ausser genehmigt durch den Erschaffer der Zugangskontrolle) strafbar oder 
wird zumindest demnächst strafbar werden.

And what's patented about Irdeto and so on is not the "software", it's the 
"algorithm", and that's legal to patent in almost every country worldwide.
