[vdr] Tunning to FTA Hot bird channels

Hello all,
       Could you please help me this problem. I have problem in tuning to
some channels.  I have a dual boot system where Linux and WIN2K are installed.
For Win2K I am using the SW offered by TechnoTrend. For Linux I am using
the CVS (29 October 02) version of the Siemens driver together with the VDR-1.1.14.
Some Hot Bird Free To Air channels can be seen in both systems. However there
are some Free To Air channels that can be seen only in the Win2K system.
Note that I am using the same frequencies on both systems. The Linux log
says that it can not lock to these frequencies. 
Can someone help me with this problem? Further, is it possible to send me
the meaning of the parameters in the Channels.conf file. I can understand
some of them like frequencies, Video PID, Audio PID. There are more parameters?
